Overview
The North Queensland Inclusive Education Support program supports jobs in schools.
It focuses on building education support skills across Townsville and North West Queensland.
In 2026, we are working with On Common Country and the Townsville Multicultural Support Group.
Together, we are supporting 20 participants.
Participants complete a Certificate III in School Based Education Support through TAFE Queensland.
The program responds to demand in regional schools.
It helps people move into jobs in inclusive education.
Participants receive support during their training.
This includes work experience and placements in schools.
They also receive mentoring, cultural support and wellbeing support.
This helps them complete the course and find work.
