It reflects the voices of our communities across 14 local government areas and outlines how we are working with industry, councils, and all levels of government to strengthen liveability, investment, and workforce outcomes for the region.
The plan provides a clear roadmap for delivering on our vision supporting sustainable growth, creating opportunities for local people, and ensuring North and North West Queensland remains a vibrant, connected
and prosperous place to live, work and invest.
Our Strategic Regional Plan is being developed in close consultation with councils, industry, education providers, community organisations, and all levels of government. This collaborative approach ensures the plan reflects the real priorities, opportunities, and challenges across our diverse region. The result will be a shared roadmap to guide sustainable economic development, strengthen liveability, and secure long-term prosperity for our region.
