Since early 2012, the four Regional Development Australia (RDA) Committees in Northern Queensland – RDA Far North Queensland and Torres Strait, RDA Townsville and North West Queensland, RDA Mackay-Isaac-Whitsunday and RDA Fitzroy and Central West – have worked collaboratively on a visionary approach to the development of strategic initiatives that will strengthen the future of our large combined region.
In 2014 the four RDA Committees have collaborated on a project to develop business cases for supporting the development of regional roads, agricultural distribution and aviation connectivity.
